Memorial Day

Memorial Day began as a remembrance of those who had served and died in the Civil War. It was originally known as Decoration Day as the graves of the fallen were decorated. This practice, and other remembrances, occurred all through the Nation, North and South, in the late 1860′s.

The Three Stooges : A Starring Attraction!

The next time you’re taking a stroll on Hollywood Boulevard, head south a bit to 1560 Vine Street and you will find The Three Stooges Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Boys are near the historical heart of the area, which is fitting. They have some pretty good company on Vine Street, too, like John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable and Shirley Temple.

Did You Know…?

Did you know that Moe’s wife Helen was Harry Houdini’s cousin? Did you know that Moe worked as a lifeguard in the 1920′s between his vaudeville gigs? Well, now you do! Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk! Stooges Of All Trades

The Three Stooges film labors created a lasting legacy of laughter. Most of you know that the Boys were doctors in Men In Black, football players in Three Little Pigskins, society types in Hoi Polloi and exterminators in Ants In The Pantry. Many of the shorts’ titles, however, don’t really give a clue to the occupations portrayed by the Stooges. Some even lead you to a wrong conclusion. Read on and enjoy.

The Three Stooges Premiere!

The Three Stooges Movie premiered in old-style Hollywood grandeur with the red carpet event held at the historic Grumman’s Chinese Theater on April 7th, 2012. The Saturday event saw a large crowd to see Sean (Larry) Hayes, Chris (Moe) Diamantopolous and Will (Curly) Sasso make a grand entrance onto the red carpet.
